Miss Prissy is beautiful. I love those senior ferrets. They can be such sweet babies. Our Dusty is 7 years old and other than cataracts he is very healthy. Our Vet was amazed at how healthy he is. Our Vet said that if he didn't know Dusty he would think he was much younger. This picture was taken the day of his 7th birthday March7th.

Dusty does look great for a senior! Lovely full coat and tail. And I love his color. Prissy is a Real Canadian and she hasn't been treated for anything ever, other than periodic melatonin implants prophylactically. Her eyes look normal but if she can see at all it's very short range. We could see M0e's cataracts. The difference is M0e didn't run into things very often, and Prissy does it constantly.
I'm going to get them out more often, before it gets too hot. I need to get some more pictures of them and get my own butt outside. The community pool is now open as well.

That second shot is just beautiful Dusty could pass for a much younger ferret. I have Mac who is a senior also. he HAS BEEN WITH US FOR 6 YEARS and he was an adult when we got him age unknown. So I think he is in his 8th year. He has a few problems and it is amazing that he is still going strong. His last weight was about 3.5 pounds
