Now that Poppy is gone, we're trying to get the rest of the crew out more. I've been taking one ata tine out for walks, either to the mailbox or just around the old trailer park.
Last night we took Pandy out for a loop around the park. She did really well, making good speed without constantly trying to pull off to the side of the road.
Today we took her to the flea market. The NASCAR races, including the Daytona 500, are this week and we like to go see what the Speedway Village souvenir section has. Usually we can find good deals on stuff from last year.
Here she is browsing diecast cars.
She was pretty hyper the first hour we were there, whether I held her or she was on the ground. We figured she had to go potty, but she never did, even tho she had plenty of opportunity. She wouldn't take water and her heart was pounding. We have a Marshall's backpack and she was having none of that either.
We decided to take into the flea market proper and visit one or two of the pet supply vendors. Dar went straight to the pet strollers. She brought one over and I put Pandy in it, and she just stretched out and made herself at home. I mean it was like she was looking for a stroller the whole time we were there. We got the blue version.
She calmed right down once inside and was no trouble the rest of our day there. She even took a good drink of water. It doesn't appear to be exceptionally rugged, but at most we'll have 3 fuzzies in, and we should be able to get our $50 out of it. It also means that they will be getting out even more, coz we'll have a place for them to be confined while they rest.
I take the ferts out not just for me and for them, but to get pics. iPhone in pocket, and only one pic. She was REALLY hyper so it was hard to manage a phone and Pandy, plus, it was Dar's day out, too, and I didn't want her to have to be burdened by a wired ferret.
