Today we bid adieu to our little white ferret with the beautiful blue eyes. She lost her battle with COPD late last night. Vanna had been abandoned at a Phoenix vet's office, left on their doorstep in a cardboard box. She was deeply loved and spoiled for the entire 4 years that she owned us. We will miss you every day, Princess Vanna!

One whom I called my ferret love.
She walked quietly into my heart.
Showing joy that set her apart.
The queen of all things she saw.
Creating a joy called ferret law.
Gone softly in the gentle night.
Soul to the bridge, heart shining bright.

We received a call from the vet, and what was COPD for so long had become lung cancer, or lung cancer had taken over. One part of the cancer was larger than Vanna's heart. The rest of her lungs were speckled with cancer. Poor Vanna. She was such a sweet girlie girl and deserved so much better. Life wasn't easy for her, but at least she knew she was very, very loved.

I'm so sorry Miss Vanna had to go. She will live forever in your heart and memories. I know words can't take away the pain of loss, but that's what memories are for. DIP Vanna.
