Not the best photo in the world, she was zooming around and I tried to get something with the Ipad. She met Mac and there were a couple of hisses and they chased each other around and then Mac got tired and went to sleep in his blue tube. She is still cruising around, has gone into the tube with him, climbed over him and out the other side and no hassles. They did play a little hide and before Mac collapse from exhaustion LOL She still has not eaten, we may have to get some of the food they were feeding her and mix it with the TF so she gets used to it, or maybe tonight we will hear her crunching. She has taken some water from the bowl and also went up into the big cage for a drink from the bottle. No potty as yet, but I bet she had just gone before leaving the humane society since they did give her a shot of Benadryl. They do that before giving a ferret rabies vaccinations. But the vet said he wanted us to take her to our vet because she was underweight. So we already have an appt for 2 in the afternoon. Joe will take her since I have to work. More info and better photos to come later

She finally ate during the early morning hours. I guess it was all the excitement of a new home, freedom and a new friend. Mac and she are playing somewhat. Chasing each other, no fights at all but no "love scenes" yet also. They chased each other through the tubes this morning and Mac rolled over on his back so she could sniff him LOL.
Give them another couple of days and I bet they will be sleeping together

I guess a real ferrant can never saw never. Blame it all on my husband. He had me convinced that it was time after 30 years to wean ourselves. HA HA...but he couldn't do it.

Good morning, still in bed here. Powder is a fast learner. She knows how to get on the bed using the ramp or the stairs. Mac just got up also and it's a litte sniffing time, then they will run around for a while. I don't think it will be long until the wind up sleeping together. She has already learned to drink water from a bowl rather than a hanging bottle people use in cages. We don't ever cage our ferrets, so a bowl is something they get used to quite quickly. Also no worries about her eating anymore. She is chowing down the ferret food like a champ. She should be putting on some weight in no time.
