Update on GCFA shelter distemper outbreak

Below is the link to the latest blog update from the GCFA. They have lost almost 30 ferrets to this dread disease. They are cautiously optimistic for the 40+ ferrets that haven't shown symptoms. Please keep them in your prayers.

I couldn't help myself. I went on their website and was looking at the pictures of ferrets from the shelter. Tears were rolling as I looked at each precious face and wondered which ones were the unlucky ones. It was hard for me looking at the pictures. I can't even imagine the pain of the staff and volunteers that actually cared for and knew and loved these babies. It's heart breaking.
