An update from the shelter's Facebook page
A majority of our shelter ferrets are still surviving and have been inoculated. We're following a distemper outbreak protocol informed by previous shelter infections. This includes giving boosters to the ferrets in the shelter. Please remember our volunteer staff are *extremely* busy caring for those who are infected and those who are not. Keeping separate work is very time consuming. Please refrain from calling the shelter for updates. The easiest way for an update is to check back here or to email us at info@gcfa.com.
Thank you for all of your care, support, generosity, and love at this time. The ferrets, the volunteers, and the board sincerely appreciate your efforts.
