I took Lucky and Boone to the 4th of July parade in their stroller. After the parade, some kids wanted to pet a ferret, so I got Boone out. When I went to put him back in, I couldn't see Lucky!! I was freaking....thought he escaped the stroller and was lost somewhere in the huge crowd. I was about ready to cry. Then I looked thru the mesh of the stroller and saw TWO ferret faces looking back at me. There is a pad in the bottom of the stroller, and Lucky had crawled underneath it. So he was in there the whole time! LOL
They had a great time at the parade. We went to a little park after so they could explore. They met a lot of people, and were sooo good. Then they got tired, and started napping in the grass. So I tucked them back in the stroller. Which caused them to wake up and protest being in there of course. Goofy weezils. lol I stuck around long enough to watch the cardboard boat races. They are hilarious. The only thing allowed in the construction of the boats is cardboard and duct tape. Quite a few of them sank before they made it across the river. Others were deliberately sunk by opposing teams. It was the first time I got to go, and it was really fun to watch!
Happy Fourth everyone!!

I would have been a basket case. Even in my house when I know that no door has been opened but I can't find one as they have found some new sleeping spot
Boy do I ever panic

They are very good at scaring us. Fell for a dead ferret sleep the other day. After a few oh craps, he says hi.
