If all goes according to plan next Friday, there will be 4 more fuzzy faces around here! My friend and I are going to be making a loop of the state. First is a 3 1/2 hr drive to visit a theraputic riding stable. It has been my friend's dream to open a theraputic stable since she was 14 yrs old. Hopefully this is the first step to making her dream come true. After the stable comes a 2 hr drive across state. At that stop we will be visiting for a short while with family (my niece and 5 mo old great nephew, friend's stepson, his wife and her grandson) Then I will be going to meet, and hopefully adopt, 2 girl ferrets. They have been in the shelter for almost 2 years!! due to biting issues. I have been watching them on pefinder for about a year now. So am excited to actually be adopting them! Then it's on the road again for about 1 1/2 hrs to pick up a boy and girl ferret. I had answered an ad on Craigslist, and the gal who has the ferrets said she would hold them for me until I could come get them. She took the ad down, then put it back up like 3 days later. So I figured that had fallen through. After I contacted the shelter, the gal e-mailed me to see when I could come get them. So I figured "hey, I'll just get all 4" And that's where the "am I CRAZY!?!?!?!?!?" comes in LOL But I have had 9 ferrets before, so I know what I am in for. Once you get past 4, what's a few more? 
Once I pick up that duo, we got about a 3 hr drive home. So it ought to be an interesting day, to say the least!
