Boone got to go on his first outing Monday. I took Boone and Zoboo in the pet stroller. We went to the courthouse for the Memorial Day ceremony, then walked out to the cemetary to watch the parade and the ceremony at Little Flanders Field. They got to get out of the stroller at the cemetary. Boone did very well for his first time ever on a leash! He didn't fight it at all, he was too busy exploring. Both ferrets made a few new friends. A little girl and her family (Mom, Dad, Brother) And they met quite a few other people. Boone did awesome...very friendly. A very good ferret ambassador. Considering I got him from the pet store because he was so aggressive acting, I am just so proud of how far he has come! On a funny note..... I know all 5 of my current ferrets are deaf. But nothing drives it home better than the fact that both ferrets were in the stroller and completely slept through an entire marching band passing by within 5 feet of where we were at, and also a 21 gun salute and taps! lol Well, Zoboo did pick his head up toward the end of the band, but I think he felt the vibration from the drums. Here are a few pics taken at a small park we stopped at on our way home...... Boone Zoboo Checking out a tree

I'm glad he did so well. It's fun taking them out to show them the world, and to the world.
