Great news! I heard from Greta yesterday...actually she called and left a very long message on my answering machine, I was unfortunately at work.
Greta is doing good, though if you remember her eye sight was not good before. Well I guess it has gotten quite a bit worse and she really can't see much so coming on the computer is impossible.
Suzie, her little female ferret is doing well, still as sweet as can be. She also has a new ferret...a boy, named Ocho Ocho means 8 and this is her 8th ferret. Cute way of naming him. Suzie does not like him at all but she hopes that in time they will become friends. Ocho is a champagne with black tail and legs and a stripe down his back. Sounds like he's part skunk HA HA
I wish I had been home, but I will call this weekend. It's hard for me to call on days when I work because my schedule is so tight.
She said to say hello to everyone

Oh that is great news, thank you Huronna for updating us on Greta. Although I'm sorry to hear of her eyesight worsening it's wonderful she is well and that her ferrets are good too. Hopefully they become buddies soon - I also like the name.

Good to gear she's doing well except for the eyes. Ferret love will get to her and Ocho will win her over.

Glad you heard from Greta. Didn't she once have a ferret named Cinco? Because she got him on or around Cinco de Mayo? One down, one to go.....Larry where are you? ?? lol

Yes she did have a Cinco and she also had a Nada at the same time. Now why would someone living in Michigan have Spanish names for their ferrets? Me I can understand since I lived in Puerto Rico for 17 years and that was where I got my first ferret....Slinkey
