My husband was upstairs tonight playing with the fuzzies, when he suddenly yelled with excitement and said "HONEY COME HERE!"
I went upstairs, and to my surprise, little Stitch's tail was dark. Lo and Behold, IT WAS FUR! The fur on her tail is finally growing back. It wasn't like that 2 days ago! I've been giving her Ferret-Vite and skin and coat treats every day. And until now, it hasn't seemed to work!
PRAISE THE LORD!

It is truely amazing how fast it comes in isnt it? One day its bare and you look the next day and its everywhere! I am so happy for her and for you, awwwwwwwwwww its great to hear some good news today.

Hooray, toedancer!! That's wonderful! Little Stitch will be prancing around soon with that lush, fur covered tail pourdly following her wherever she goes. I 'member how great it was when I spotted that soft fuzz on Cinco's tail less than two weeks after his melatonin implant. Happy Day! Hugs, Greta

Here's what I've told you on Jan 08 ....
" Erica, It looks like a rat tail to me also ... My ferrets have had the most strange
shedding period this year, IMO it will all grow back soon "
Just be careful with the Ferret-Vite, it's lot of sugar and it can lead to insulinoma problems.
You don't need to give it every day to an healthy ferret. ( Just needed to tell you )

OH How cool congrad. I got some melatnen but it is old and it is 300 mg. I am going tobuy some new so my two girls will get fur back on their tails. love and God bless.
