So glad that you found us and decided to join. We are always happy to have new members. I live in Florida , but am on vacation in LA right now I have two beautiful boys, Mac and Mr. Really, both are rescues. They are home with my hubby taking care of them while I am gone for a couple of weeks. Looking forward to getting to know you and you fuzzbutt  |

Welcome. I live in New Mexico with 7 ferrets, one cat, a hubby, a daughter and 3 grandkids. As of this morning a pheasant in a cottonwood tree joined us. LOL.

I am sorry I did not put anything about me. I live in Missouri with a new baby ferret, 5 dogs that are also my furbabies and last but not least my husband of 27 years. I just got Ali this Monday took her to the vet today she has a small infection so on antibiotics for a few days. She is the sweetest ferret I have ever been around. She loves to give kisses and prefers to travel in my shirt. I feel so blessed to have her in my life.

LOL I have one of those big ferrets called a husband LOL of actually 40 years.
You know I have never had a ferret that liked to travel in my shirt. Maybe because I always lived in warn climates.
You baby is adorable.
Many times when I have gotten a rescue and even on the rare occasion that I bought one, I have had a lot of cases of ear mites.
What kind of infection does she have?
Did you get her from a pet store? They are responsible for the health of the ferret

![]()  Hi Huranna, Love you name by the way! Yes got her from Petco, they would have sent her to their vet and I do not trust that vet so I would rather pay for it but will call them later. She has an upper respiratory infection the vet said it is the enclosure they keep them in so have trouble and she was only in it three and a half days before I brought her home. She was alittle better today but she is still congested and some diarrhea this morning so will have to watch her closely she ate this morning and playing with me while I try to write this. She loves my IPad Yahtzee app! LOL Hope you are having a great time in LA. I have never been there we had always thought we would travel when we were older but I got an illness that sitting too long is painful for me. |

Thank you Lily. She is already feeling better with less sneezing and congestion, she is actually try to help me type this if walking over the key board it typing! LOL
I actually got her down with my dogs they were mainly running from her and my Yorkie which I was afraid would be a problem was so good with her. I would never leave them together without me right there, but I was very please with how everyone did with her. She even bite my Yorkie which I told her no bite, which she does know, my Yorkie Daisy Mae did nothing just ran to me to take care of it. Ali did not get skin just hair, but she gets so wound up when she is with the dogs. After awhile I have to give her a time out since she just ends up chasing and biting the dogs a habit I do not want her into.

Hi Marsha! Welcome to the group. I hope that Ali gets well soon. She's a cutie. She looks like our Poppy, who is one of the smartest ferrets ever. She has no obstacles, lol.
We also live in Florida, about 3 hours from Huronna. Someday we'll meet up, lol. As you can see we have 10 ferrets looking after us, so we are quite busy.

Thank you for the warm welcome Smokeyoshi! Sorry did not get your name. She is already getting better after 2 and 1/2 days of antibiotic. I have allot of friends that live in Florida, even though I have never met any of them.
I took the vet bill into Petco they took a copy and I should get a refund or a store credit, either way would be fine.
