We have been using the spa lately and for grins I took a flat storage bin and dropped a couple ferts in it, then put it in the tub. They love it. tonight when I got home from work, three of them were waiting for me to open it up and go in with them. It's hard to get pics of them in there, because obviously we have to there with them, but here's a couple shots of Smokie and Abita. Yes, several, namely Pandy, Smokie and Yoshi have fallen in. Pandy did it twice, and the second time was no accident. They swim well, but the first time is a bit of a panic. The water is around 92 degrees. The circulation pump is bad, so it only heats when we have the jets on.

We have an in ground spa on our lanai which is screened in. The boys love going out there to investigate, of course i have panic attacks when I see them there even though my hubby is with them. I had one ferret , silveretta, who loved to swim in the sink. she was no trouble to bath at all as she would just wiggle all around. I think if my two fell in the water they would fly through the air trying to get out.

I looks like you are not going to be able to use that spa with out sharing it with the ferrets. I had one that loved to swim in our garden tub.

Yes, Dee, when they hear the tub pump turn on we get 3 or 4 gathered around wanting to go in. Abita is the most agile and she is the only on that has managed to walk all the way around the edge without falling in or out. Pandora and Smokie seem to like it the most. Poppy took a dip last time we were in. She tried to jump to the side but missed. She was a bit surprised, but they're all good swimmers, and she's always liked water, so no harm done.
