Saturday's Hiking Photos

Haven't shared pics in a while...
This is a special time of year in the Arizona Desert. Green and lush with water to be found on the trails and lots of beautiful wildflowers. Went hiking Saturday with Cosima on a trail in the Tonto Nat'l Forest, Superstition Wilderness called Massacre Grounds. Group of Spanish Miners slaughtered there by Apaches some many moons ago. Anyway, outstanding trail with expansive gorgeous views thought I would share it. Hugs to all, Lily xo

Wow, didn't it snow in Tucson last month?

[Lily]

It probably did ~ I think I heard something about that. It snowed in Cave Creek a little north of me. We had a very strange winter in Phoenix - much colder than normal. It snowed a ton up north, which isn't unusual but our temps in Phoenix were crazy ~ I'm happy for the warmth again, although I'm going to England Thursday and it's crazy cold there!

Yah, a PGA golf tourney got snowed out in Tucson. FYI I have family Surprise. I've been to Cave Creek. In fact, I was in Surprise in January. (Sorry, Dee I was only there for 36 hours to visit my ailing aging mom.)

I used to ride my motorcycle up through Surprise when there was virtually nothing there. Haven't been up that way in a while though
