Let me begin by giving permission for any of the photos to be used by the Graphics Groups. The only thing I request is that you do not use photos which have people (Friends from the group) posing in the photos. If there are local people in the backgrounds or photos from shows they can be used. Credit should be Photo By Huronna or Background by. Members of AL may tube animals if they desire but they must be donated to AL Safe Tubes.
For members of the Globus Tour group and the Cruise Director John Zhang, you have permission to take any of the photos to show or use.
The photos are different sizes due to cropping and some have been resized, others not because parts may want to be used by the graphic groups.
If you have any questions, please feel free to e-mail me or PM me

Tibet
Originally there was supposed to be 20 in our group, but 4 people were from Canada and 4 from Australia. There was a problem with the group visa into Tibet and so unfortunately these 8 people were not able to be on our tour at all. There were only 12 of us and that really was a wonderful number
Here is John our tour director, He went everywhere with us. He should get an award for his patience and caring attitude. He was like a mother hen with all of us, always checking to see if everything was ok. When we were in Tibet and about 4 of us got ill with the altitude sickness, he was always there with suggestions and help. He had experienced it in the past also and you could see by the end of our stay there, he was glad to get at a lower altitude also.
Our Hotel and Room
The first day I was soooo under the weather that I did not get out of bed.
My husband took some great photos for thise day and same TOU apply.
A visit to a Tibetan Family occurred. All the furniture in the home was painted by the owner.
Next stop as a typical Tibetan Monastery
Then the Summer Palace of the Dalai Lama
The next day I was ready to go and off we went to the Potala Palace, once the center of the Tibetan government and the former winter residence of the Dalai Lama.
As we entered the area there were many people doing their morning dance exerciser. It was like the hokey pokey that we did in the old days.
Then on to the Palace
Only 4 in our group were able to climb to the top. Needless to say neither I now my husband were in that group
We syaed and wandered through the gardens
And walked through the surrounding areas where there were many people making the rounds of the Palace. Most were walking with the prayers wheels but there were a few, like this woman (her huband preceeded her and her three children were behind) that prostrated themselves, got up walked a few steps and then continued the same sequence
We visited a local hospital, thank goodness none of us got that ill
And the Jokhang Temple where Joe put one of this $2 bills in the "wishing well"
Remember I had visited China 30 years ago and there are so many differences now. Back then there were no dogs, not even strays. This time we say many, and I guess it is now a status symbol because you seem quite a few people strutting down the street with the dogs on a leash.
These were "free roamers"
