That's how many ferret nails I trimmed tonite!! Everybody was very happy with their tone bellies. Tho some didn't think they got enough and had to help a sibling or two clean their belly off. I always love when I am done and have a bunch of ferrets belly licking all in a row.

160 that's 8 ferrets LOL I only have 60 and it's really difficult for me now. I used to be able to single handed put a drop of nutrical on their bellies and turn them on their back on my lap, take off my glasses because I used to be able to see great very close up. Now after the cataract surgery and 20/20 fpr distance, I don't have squat for close up. I have to put on reading glasses and then it's still at a little distance. So hubby has been scruffing and holding them a bit away from me as I have been clipping. I've done it twice since the surgery, don't know if it will get any easier

Well the wildbunch has 7 here and thats still alot of nails to trim. Some of us cooperate and some of don't so we have to bescruffed but we get a bit of peanut butter after and we are happy.

160..is that all? LOL I have 300 nails to do and 30 ears to clean. ALL of mine cooperate with the tone on the bellies...some need more tone than others since some are faster lickers than others....lol It is funny to see the "helpers" helping the "slow ones". Now ears are another story. I don't use q-tips...just put .1 cc of ear cleaner in a syringe and put that amount in each ear...the first ear is easy ...the second one is a scruff. Not too bad since they're still licking off the belly tone. I do this myself about every 3-4 weeks.

Ya'll are so lucky you're able to keep your kiddies' nails trimmed. My vision is so poor I won't chance hurting a baby by clipping too close to the quick. Getting my son to help me is a long time project. I have to start mentioning those nails need trimming over and over for maybe 2-3 weeks before it penetrates his brain that I need his assistance for the job. lol I use cotton balls soaked with extra virgin olive oil for ears and my fur kids just shake out the nasties. lol Hugs, Greta

I also do 160 toe nails and 16 ears to clean , but I do not use ferretone on there bellys I cuff them in my mouth and clip nails on all 4 feet then I do ears buy cuffing in my left hand and of corse I give them a treat I put there names on a piece of sticky note pad and mark them off as I go are I'll do twice are forget some one

I think you forgot to count his back feet.....so it would be 21



Mine actually anticipate the tone. As soon as I flip them on their backs, they start belly sniffing looking for the tone....LOL

Spacey do you cut nails every week
I cut 60 every week, you should see Jack's nails, they are always so long !!!!!
I need to cut Boo Boo's too because he's able to climb everywhere when they get long.
Rose's nails doesn't grow as fast as the boys I think, so it's not every week for her.

I wonder why we have to cut all the nails the same day always !!! LOL
