I think my Petey has it. He has is sometimes lethargic, has decreased appetite and chronic loose poop that has started being bloody once or twice a day but not all the time. We've assumed it's irritible bowel that's really flared up. He quit eating his regular food and lost a bunch of weight, but gained it back when I offered kitten food. He's playing with the others again.
So far we're doing amoxicillin and a little pepto bismal. My vet is about to add something else (I forget which, but I did see it mentioned in the article).
I've sent the link to my vet to see if she thinks this could be it. Last week she did some research on her vet boards and found lost of vets trying lots of different things. It's very frustrating.

catferts--- you may want to have your vet to a blood glucose if it has not been done. Those are symptoms of Insulinoma as well
