I think I mentioned quite some time ago that Bonita talks and chatters in her sleep. So uch so that it often wakes us in the middle of the night and we go running to see what is wrong with her, only to find her sound asleep. Still yapping. She doesn't wiggle her legs or move around like some animals do, she is sound asleep
SOmeone suggested I buy a dream catcher which while I was in Arizona I did. She usually sleeps on the upper level of their house (April and Mac sleep in a night stand drawer LOL)
Well it hasn't helped. I still go to bed at night to her chirping and yapping.
It's funny because when she is awake she is not a vocal ferret.
Guess I just have to fall asleep to her singing LOL

Ahhhh that is soo sweet.. My guys aren't very vocal either when they are awake.. lol
Yesterday though I checked on the ferts and Jaffa was in his bed with his eyes wide open moving and jittering his legs.. He scared the beejeebies out of me.. thought he was having a seizure.. But I kept looking at his tail and it was normal no bottle brush.. I even touched him gently and nothing..So me being dumb I picked him up and he was of course limp as a wet noodle.. But then he stirred and woke up.. I have never seen a ferret sleep and dream with their eyes wide open.. Anyone else ever experience this??

My Emma sleeps with her eyes wide open. Elmo squeeks and squeals in his sleep, but Kit is the Olympian in slumberland and his feet are moving almost constantly and his whiskers twitch. Funny how they all have such unique little quirks, isn't it?

I don't remember any of my fuzzies 'talking' in their sleep, but Cinco used to snore very softly. It was pleasant to fall asleep listening to my boy's "log sawing." It's so precious that Bonita treats you to a dreamland serenade every night, gf. Hugs, Greta

LOL! I cannot tell you how many times Teddy Bear has woken me up yapping off or reciting something in his sleep. It scareds dickens out of me. Willow is a eyes wide open sleeper and has given me a scare a few times. They sleep so soundly! LOL! Thanks for that post now I dont feel so dumb. LOL!

Awwww that's so cute...Tweeter(RIP) chirped and "ran" in his sleep. He sounded like a bird that's how he got his name. I don't have any talkers now only one that snores, Butch.
