Meet Duncan

My friend Dee Gage called and asked if I could pick up a rescue for her last week. This kid dropped him off on Tues evening and Dee was going to pick him to take to the rescue on Friday morning.
Well, the ferret is not going to the rescue. I totaly fell in love. He reminds me so much of my first ferret Kodi. You all have read how much I loved and adored him.
My hubby even likes this ferret. The ferret had no name. the kid couldn't remember what kind of food he feed him, no vet of course.
When he dropped him off he came in a double door pick up. He had both doors open on the truck searching for the ferret, he din't have in a carrier, it was running loose. I about had a heart attack.
Fantastic personality, beautiful coat, and very healthy boy. I named him Duncan. I swore I would not have any more ferrets. I still have 13, a few high maintaince, but very loved.
I have buried 40 ferrets and just thought I could give no more of myself, other than the ones I have with me now.
I was wrong.

Omg omg omg... Are you sure it is real ferret ? For me he just looks as a plushy teddy bear. I understand you to want to keep him, and no way if you change your idea don't send him to Huronna, I will come to take him Thank you for the pictures. Omg, Girlfriend!! It's a good thing Dee got to you before I got to her. I've been trying to reach Dee for a couple of weeks now about contributing to her shelter. And ... I've been looking for a fuzzy boy that can handle Ozzie's 'Ambush" type of play, which is getting to be too much for poor little Itty to handle anymore. Duncan is GORGEOUS!! Mark and I may be coming your way within the next couple of weeks or so, as Toby has fleas again and he also needs his annual heartworm medication. Gotta take him in to see Doc Bader.

By just seeing him in the pictures I can see how easy he would be to fall in love with. He looks oh so cuddly.
