I picked up Lily at 1 pm today. What a difference! The vet had me placew her on a towel on the floor so I could tell her if there was any change. Change? Heck was this the same girl? She was walking, standing , trying to play with the blanket! Her blood tests were all good but her sugar which was low. We are giving her 5 different meds and she goes back Monday for another blood test for sugar. She looks sooooo much better. The vet gave me some specail recovery food that is meant to build weight and muscle and told me to give her the duck soup as well as a in between meals treat. We are also only giving her distilled water as some ferrets do have an allergy to the chemicals in oor water. She has been home sinve 2 pm and NO POOPS! When she is a little stronger I will be doing water thereapy with her. I am sooooo Pleased! SHe looks so mcuh better.

Oh, Ellie! This is the post I came on board for! It's wonderful ... simply wonderful, to read about this vast improvement in little Lily's energy and behavior. The poor little girl looks so pathetic in the photos you posted earlier. I just wanted to reach into the screen, lift her out and wave my magic healing wand over her as I cuddled her close to me. Praise God! your sweet little baby is well on the road to recovery now. Happy Hugs, Greta
