Binky (Bianca) has been here about 6 months now. She was an only ferret before I got her (and was 5 years old) So she tended to be a little scared of the other ferrets and would screech and run away from them. She is now to where she will tolerate and nose touch with most of the crew now. She still won't play with them, but she likes to play with me and also with the kitties. For the most part, the other ferrets tend to ignore her. All except Rawnie. She loves to chase and pounce on poor Binky. I usually end up grabbing Binky up as they go past and holding her until Rawnie gives up on finding her.

The other night I had just gone to bed when I heard Binky screeching. She came racing across my bed with Rawnie in hot pursuit. I grabbed Binky and tucked her under my blankets with me. She snuggled into my arm, gave me a bunch of kisses, and then ended up sleeping under the blankets with me for a while. It was like she was saying "Thank you for saving me from my bully sister" LOL

Binky is mommy's little girl. hehehe My Ozzie loves to hide and wait until Itty comes across his hiding place. Then he jumps out and pins her down as he lays across her tummy. Itty begins crying for mommy and Oz Man will turn onto his back in the submissive position. Itty hates to be pinned down. She is too energetic to stay in one place. lol I think it's sweet how Binky comes to you for proteection from Rawnie. But this is just Rawnie's way of playing with Binky. Who knows? Some day these two might just be best buddies. Hugs, Greta

I wish Mine were cuddlers but they too are full of Ferret energy. But then agin it makes it so much more special if you do get that elusive cuddle now and then.

I sometimes need to rescue Flake from Zues...he can be such a bully when she has his sleeping box.
