We went off to the West Country game fair today.. it was a lovely day out! lots of great country pursuits type stands and stuff and hubby was in love with the gun sections lol...
Ferrets 2000 organized the first Open Ferret Show at the Fair today with the support of Supreme Ferret Selective Ferret Food... who supplied the prizes to go with the first place ribbons...
It was a small showing.. not too many people there.. but as with most of these shows at the big game fairs... the gate cost was a bit prohibitive ... perhaps as people get to know the show is there more will show up... after all we did have several hours to wander around before and after the show so it was well worth the day..
Our gang did Fab today!!
Twisty - First Place Disabled, Lovely Ribbon and 2kg of food and a very pretty Cup that we keep until next years show...

We then locked everyone up except Clover and took a lil wander around with our champ.. who got lots of fuss and attention as always lol.. He's such a good ferret and seems to enjoy being out with us..
it turned out to be a really good day.. the sun was out, the weather was warm and we got to chat with some new friends and old ones too...
Even picked up some new nets we plan on trying out tomarrow... and some new spun nylon cord for me to work on making some new ones of my own...
