Jim was an incredible help to me last night with Calypso (Sissy) We had stopped by my house so I could soup everyone before going over to his house, and that's when I found her. He stayed with me the whole time. He gave my cats their canned food while I held my girl. He held onto her for me while I was on the phone with the vet. When I turned around he was stroking her and talking to her. He drove me out to the vet. he couldn't stay in the room with me, but when I opened the door after, he was right there waiting. He even helped pay the vet bill. I told him I would pay him back, and he said he wouldn't take it. The poor guy got up at 6 am for work, and it was almost 4 by the time everything was over and done with.
All this from a guy I have been dating for only 2 months. I can't believe how lucky I am to have him in my life. I have always dated jerks, so this is a whole new experience for me.

Bless his heart. Nothing can cure our sorrow of the loss of a little one. But to have a lovely understanding carring person at our side can help to go through for sure. I am glad you were not alone today. I am happy that your Jim is good a soul and that he is gentle and compassionate with you.

That's wonderful that you have met someone who is compassionate and understanding especially when it comes to our "babies". I hope that it lasts forever for you.  |

I think you may have found "the one"
During this time of your pain and saddness, he was right there with you. Not only holding you up, but giving love and care to one of your babies. He showed the strength that we all look for and the tenderness that is necessary in a true love

Your Jim is a real keeper, girlfriend. I must agree with you on this. Hang on to this guy tight, Spacy. You won't be sorry. It's funny how when we're not even looking for anyone new in our lives, the right man(woman) comes along and changes everything.
