We just got 2 new ferrets, bringing our total to 5. I've had 5 ferrets before, 5's a good number. I was at my girlfriends house in nevada last weekend, she runs a shelter, and ended up taking 2 brothers home. They are 11 months and 14 months. They are both sables, BeefCake is a dark sable and Odie is smaller and lighter. We got Max from Linda nearly 2 months ago, he's 5 months now. He is a big DEW, deaf, and the sweetest, goofiest boy. He reminds me of Baby Huey, all clumbsy and dopey. I just love him to bits. I've tried taking pictures of the ferrets, but there is a delay on my camera and they won't hold still. If I can ever get a picture and can figure out how to post them I will.
Zoe, my girl who has squamous cell carcinoma in her jaw, seems to be feeling better. While we were in Nevada, I had Linda's vet look at her and we found out her tooth was loose, so he pulled it. When she got home, she started eating kibble right away. Her breath is so much better and she seems to feel better. She won't ever get better, she will die in a few months, but hopefully removing the tooth will make her more comfortable until then.
