MSN Groups are gone

Though they were supposed to be closed on Feb 21, they were not all closed until yesterday. So ends the era of white pages and refreshing and red "X's"

I was a member for many years and will really miss MNFF. But I'm glad we all have a new and wonderful site her at Ferret. Thank you so much Hurronna for all of your hard work!!

I was able to post one last time yesterday morning. And later... it was gone.

I said this over on MNFF, but I'll repeat it here: The world- renowned Skippy Compound have a very large cafeteria that can handle hundreds of ferrets at a time (and humans; I've eaten there and the food is very good), and on the walls they have memorials for humans and fuzzies that have passed on. Yesterday they installed a special plaque on the wall to mark the passing of My Norwegian Ferret Family. The Skippys loved MNFF, and I did, too. We'll all miss it.

The Skippys think this board looks promising. They'll be keeping tabs on the place, Huronna.

It is nice to find you here and to read again your wonderful post about the installation of the special plaque.......how very special of "the gang"!
Knew it was coming, but it still was a terrible feeling to read MSN's "official announcement" on the old board yesterday.....I didn't have time to tell you I saw your last post.......

But here we are.... almost all the old gang together in this lovely new place ..... wishing you and all a fine Tuesday today!

I'm glad so many of MNFF came here. Many of us were members of both MNFF and Ferret, but there were some that didn't have time for two sites. Now we are all one big family

I saw that msn message for the first time today when I acciidentally clicked on the wrong selection while trying to access the pro-board, Heidi. Somehow I'm not too sad. No more white pages. No more disappearing group access when I'm all set to sit down and communicate with our members. Hugs, Greta

Thank you again for giving us a place to become one big family.
Even though I know it came at a time I really wasn't able to keep up with managing my groups anymore, my heart still sank and I had some tears when I saw the page on my links saying MSN is closed.

I won't miss the problems, the white pages and red x's, but I will miss the groups I worked on for almost a decade.

The great news is the friendships are not lost. And virtually all of us are here together.

And that is thanks to you Huronna!

Mom, Bev, it was a wonderful journey at MNFF wasn't it? And at Ocean.
We'll always have those memories in our hearts.
