Well things have calmed down a little bit with my husband. He was transferred from the VA hospital to a skilled nursing rehab and has completed his first week. It's still going to be a long haul, but we are taking it one day at a time. Between driving to spend a couple of hours with him, work and everything else, I'm not on the computer as much as I normally was. I did take a video of my kids the other day to bring to him as a little reminder of why he wants to come home

I'm glad things are a bit better with your husband. Please give him a hug for me and tell him he is in my prayers. It looks like Powder and Scout enjoy the bed. Zeus thinks being on the bed is a big treat and love to explore every time he gets the chance.

I would let them stay on the bed at night, except Powder bites my toes. Have no idea why, she doesn't bother my husbands when he is here

He is improving , little by little They have him walking a bit on the walker, that seems to be easier than just standing. His legs start to shake when he isn't moving. Still hard to get up out of bed and into the wheelchair. But eating well, personality normal and desire to work hard and get home is the driving force

A lot of my pts have a harder time standing than walking, usually due to back pain in standing.
