Memories of children

This past weekend I visited my brother and his family in Chicago.
It had been a year since I'd seen them all.
Lea, who is now 8, remembered something special we did last year.
The first thing she said to me was....do you have any more ferret videos?
I was really surprised that she had remembered. I had a couple new ones, but later that night when I was in my hotel I remembered I had a youtube account from before I had the Ipad. I wracked my brain to remember my ID and password and lo and behold, there were some one the old videos or April, Mr Really and Mac. So when we went back to their house yesterday morning, Lea and I sat on the couch and watch ferret videos.
Brought back lots of memories of my RIP ferrets.

Funny the things that little kids remember

Children have amazing memories. When my Grandson was 8 his parents took him to Disney World. He had an allergic reaction while there. The medical personnel gave them them some prednisone for him. His reaction to the pred was "What you're giving me ferret medicine? He has been around ferrets at our house since he was a baby.

that's s sweet. I have almost no relationship with my family anymore...

Our grandson has lived within 5 miles of us since he was 9 months old. Since I got of work before he got out of school I would pick him up. He stayed at our house until his mom got home several hours later. We had no one here to play with except the ferrets most of his life. We didn't get a dog until he was 10. This is one of my favorite pictures of him.The ferret he is petting was one that would not let anyone touch her except my grandson, my husband and I. Gracie was on the aggressive side.
