Pandy was helped across the Rainbow Bridge at 1215 today. By the time we got to the vet, her little eyes were saying, "I'm so tired Daddy. Please just let me sleep." She came home with us when we found Yoshi, the cutest ferret ever, in Petco in Daytona. The store manager said she'd been there over 5 months. So we took her too, but on the way home we felt bad for leaving Abita there all alone, so we turned back and she came home too. The following week we found Mogli in the same store, and they became The Gang of Four. Pandy was always a big girl, and she loved her soupies and treaties. She also loved having her belly rubbed. She didn't play a lot, but she knew exactly how hard she could bite to get me to yell, while she looked at me with playful eyes. She liked going outside and car rides, tho she'd mostly sleep between destinations. She was one of 3 ferrets who could always be trusted to find the potty. She always had one black beauty mark on her neck on a pure white coat. She'll be cremated and rest with Jaffa and Prissy. We have a clay pawprint, but never got to the paint one for her. Tomorrow we'll wotk on the other 6. Ought be mighty interesting with Junior. DIP Pandygirl. I'm sure gonna miss those good luck Buddhabelly rubs.

I am so sorry to hear that the beautiful Pandy is no longer with you. The years she had with you were a true blessing for all of you. We all know how much she will be missed. Was the Tumor Lymphoma? We lost Gracie much the same way. She had a sudden inoperable Lymphoma Tumor.

I just assume it was lymphoma. Not much else in that area but muscles and connective tissue. It just happened so quickly. Pandy was our oldest by only 6 months.

That first photo is my favorite, I remember requesting permission to use it and I made a tag with it, She is a beauty. That lymphoma is so sudden and there is really nothing we can do. It's so sad

Thank you ladies. In a way, I'm glad she went so quickly. I really don't want to see another one waste away like Prissy, never giving up until she was skin and bones. Pandy was still eating and dragging herself to the litter box. she just coudn't lift herself up to stay out of the mess. She was my heart ferret, tho she didn't have a huge personality. I guess it's because I felt so bad for her living at Petco so long.

Just now seeing this. I'm so sorry for your loss of Pandy. She was well loved. She waited in that store for you to come take her home. It's never easy saying goodbye. :-(
