Tonight, after all the ferrets were thought to be bedded down somewhere , we hear screaming. I naturally assumed it was Scamp and the only question was who he was harassing. We found him under the stereo stand so I reached in to pull him out and got a proper bite to the nail on 2 fingers. I reach in again and tried to pull him out but no go. His tail somehow got caught in the frame of the stand. It took another painful to-the-bone bite to reach in and free his tail. I couldn't identify for sure where he got hung up, but he is the smartest ferret we've ever had (out of 26) so go figure. Pure accident. It's why he never gets free roam when no one is home. Tomorrow at work will be fun with 2 sore bandaged indexed fingers. Li'l buggers.
