SCamp and Lola have a sort of adversarial friendship. She's the only one who he backs down from. Last night, tho, Rosa had him backing up. Rosa is a lot meeker. Our dream is to have Scamp just leave Rosa alone. If we could ever have Rosa and SCamp out at the same time...

Oh how I remember having that feeling. I was never able to leave Clyde and Bonita out at the same time. I think he would have done some real damage to her. It was better to just play musical ferrets for a few years LOL

Yesterday Rosa stood up to him and Scamp was kinda puzzled. every time he made a move Rosa was there first. It'll probably never end, and Rosa is q drama queen but she has some really sharp teeth that I can personally vouch for. She's punctured me more than all others combined

Rosa stoodu up to him Friday morning, but she's really no match for him physically. He found her in the bathroom closet, and after she crapped on him she stood there screaming at him and teeth-fencing until I rescued her. Scamp was looking for an opening and not finding one.

This 1 cup measuring cup was found with Our Hero attached under the couch. It used to reside in a covered plastic container in a magnetic-latched pantry IMG_5181 by unclejoe1158, on Flickr

He's figured out how to do this... (video) IMG_0907 by unclejoe1158, on Flickr The drawers are in the kitchen counter. In the past, it was an escape route to under the house. I guess I've fixed that. He has also pulled a register out of the floor this past week, and all 3 boys were running around in the duct work. They all got treats when they came to the squeakie.

I swear, they can get into about anywhere. My kitchen cabinets have backs, so there is no escaping. The drawers are way up but they can open the doors easily. I ofte find Scout sleeping under the sink cabinet. I have had to put everything in screw cap containers. Flip tops he ca open, but he hasn't learned how to unscrew a top....YET!

My first ferret, Twiggy taught me that ferrets can and do go wherever they have a mind to go. She was a tiny little thing, only 1.5 pounds. She opened a kitchen cabinet and got into a can of Quick. My little albino was completely chocolate. What was a huge mess to clean up. Her next adventure was an escape outside. She opened a bottom drawer in the bathroom, crawled over the top and down into the sub-floor. She got between the sink drain and the small in the floor surrounding it and outside. This is what led us to putting baby locks on every cupboard and drawer she could reach in the entire house. Never underestimate a curious ferret.

Oh, Dee, when we first moved here, the first time we let them out of the cage it only took 20-30 minutes for Mogli and Abita to find pipe holes under the bathroom vanity. I only figured it out because I saw Yoshi's tail disappear into the floor as I was looking under the vanity for them. I sprayed foam into the holes and no one has gotten out since, BUT, Scamp ALSO pulled a register out of the floor last week, and he, Yoshi and Lola spent 10 minutes re-exploring the a/c ducts, while I was supposed to be getting ready for work. Had to duct tape them down for now until I get screws. Of course, the bathrooms are tile. How do you put screws in that?
That's too funny about your chocolate albino, hahahaha

Twiggy was my first ferret and she taught me so much. I found out the hard way that ferrets are very very smart. They can and do go anywhere they want to. Before my son had to have a ferret I thought they were like hamsters, rabbits, or other small animals we have had. They are definitely more challenging and interesting. They can climb, swim, and figure out and execute the most complicated escape plan. I see yours are no different. There is never a dull minute when you have ferrets. Zeus is not a baby (7+ years) so he doesn't get into as much trouble now, just enough to let us know he still can have some fun.

It was better to just play musical ferrets for a few years LOL Lol. I had kats named Bonita (Bonnie) and Clyde a long time ago. Scamps is officially 3.5 lb now. His mentee, Diego, is the next largest male at 2 3/4 lb. That's 25% difference. I will try to get a pic today.
