I don't normally comment much on forums anymore. Don't ask me why, I don't know why..lol But Huronna the animation on that tag is impressive. I just had to say something. Chris (SmokieYoshi) is busy these days driving back and forth to Orlando 5 days a week and working three nights. I have been busy working two jobs holding the fort down till he gets done school.. Finally a light at the end of the tunnel. He is gonna graduate in May and then life can really start.
Rainy yucky day here over on the east coast as well. Have been having Turtle withdrawals,, no sitings in a week.. They have hunkered down in the mud while we keep getting these cold windy days. Fuzzies are doing great,, Priss Priss will be 8 next month. I can't believe how healthy she is.. Only blind and hearing impaired.. Other then that no health issues... Knock on wood she is gonna be our first 10 yr old..
Anyway, I was telling Chris the other day instead of wasting time on Farmville, I should get back into PSPing.. At least that has some reward after spending hours in front of a computer screen.. hehe
Hope everyone else's day is going ok..

Into Week 3 of internship, and the dreaded I-4 commute. I allow 2 hours to go 58 miles and it's been averaging 1 1/2. I get on, get in the left lane and go with traffic. No point in stressing over it or weaving lanes like some idiots do. I am enjoying the work, but it requires some creativity to do the assignments. This is supposed to be a mental health setting, but most of the homeless/poor clients we deal with are not really mentally impaired. I do get satisfaction dealing with new clients who have lost their jobs and are willing and able to get back their lives. I'm becoming proficient with the assessment/intake system, but I still have doubts as to how it will improve my resume when I graduate. 14 weeks and counting... I found out this week that my next rotation will be at a nursing home/rehab 7 miles from home. I job shadowed there before I applied to the occupational therapy program 4 stinkin years ago, when I was trying to get into physical therapy. It's the only "skilled nursing facility," aka nursing home, in this town that also has a rehab/therapy unit. This schedule sux, because I'm not home 3 nights a week and I miss the fuzzies and Dar. But the nights I am home are Dar's nights off. The fuzzbuckets are all doing well. I would love to see peach fuzz growing on Jaffa's tail and butt, but I haven't given up yet. Only 3 weeks, but still nothing. Right now it's 7 pm, I've been home almost 2 hrs and have only seen Pandy and Prissy. Jaffa is due for meds and he's still sleeping. Weekends I don't cage the ferrets, even when cleaning, so I can see them. Typically, it takes an hour to pick up papers, vacuum and steam mop the inside, and 45 minute. Naturally, I get at least a couple poops before the papers get put back. A day in the life, lol.

I bet you can't wait for that.. Those commutes can really wear you down. I just think it's great that you are progressing so far and you are almost there. That light at the end of the tunnel sure is starting to shine brightly

Been there done that.. Pet rescue and Candy crush.. but got tired of having to ask friends for things so I could move up the levels.. Farmville I can play by myself.. Takes longer but I don't have to bug anyone.. Plus it fills my needs to keep the animals fed.. Haha.. I like the ever changing landscape as well.. Just can't wait for it not to be winter there no more.. tired of the snow.. lol
