A couple years ago we bought a digital camera that I have just not figured out. It has 8 mpx, but it also has a delay which makes getting pix of ferrets a challenge. It was supposed to be an update of my old Fuji. My old phone was an iphone 3. 2 weeks ago I got an iphone 5s. these are the first ferret pics I took with it. There is no delay between pics so it shoots almost as fast as you can hit the button. I took 20 pics and only junked 3-4.

The pictures are beautiful. It is for sure not easy to get good pictures or ferrets. They have a tendency not to pose for one for more than a 1/2 second.

Pose is not in a ferret's vocabulary, lol. Heidi, you met Pandy briefly . I'm still not sure if she's deaf. She seems to hear a treat jar being shaken, and sometimes she responds to her name, but not always. She's an enigma. But she loves being held and having her belly rubbed. I love her to death. Her winter coat is awesome. She didn't really get a nice coat last year. I weighed her today and she's 3 lb 6 oz. Big even for her. It's diet time again...

I took that with my kindle fire.. it takes awesome stills but takes so darn long to process a picture from the time you hit the shutter button till it finally takes it.. its no good for ferrets.. constantly get that kind of ghostly outline when taking pics of them.. The other ones I posted on Prissy's Thread I got with my Iphone on Burst setting.. took 5 pics in 5 seconds.. great feature for ferrets.. every pic was clear..

I tweaked that pic with iPiccy.com and that was the best sharpness I could get, better than photobucket. Prissy has always bee an supermodel, complete with attitude.

I wish I could have met her when she was so dark. I think she was awesome looking. There was someone on the holistic forum that had a sable go all white in one seasonal coat change. Only time I've heard of that.

She was only dark like that her first winter.. She was still a kit in that one pic with her beautiful white head..So glad I got pics of her looking like that..
