A week ago Friday I realized I hadn't seen Rosie all day. So I went looking for her and found her under her favorite chair and she was gone. I'm not sure what happened exactly. She had a small amount of blood on her nose. So I am thinking she had some sort of accident.
I'm not even sure how long she was under the chair. I *think* I saw her Thursday, but can't be sure. I just started a new job working nites and my brain is scrambled more than usual. But it breaks my heart not knowing what happened or when it happened. I feel like a bad mom. I don't have it in me to write her memorial right now.

Your heart always breaks when one of your dear ones leaves for the bridge. You loved Rosie and gave her the best life you could. Do not blame yourself! You are not a bad ferret mom! Remember all the good times. I am so sorry for your loss.

I'm so sorry. We just can't be with them 24/7. We often leave them out when we leave only hoping that they'll all get along till we get back.
DIP Rosie.

Thanx everyone. Her passing being unexpected makes it so much harder. Just a short time before she died, she was climbing in my hoodie pocket while I was cleaning and taking a nap. She had so much energy and life in her. It's hard to imagine her gone. I keep expecting her to come running, bouncing up to me. I miss her.

I lost Carol in February and I still call other fuzzies Carol by mistake. She and Alice both survived so much I figured they'd be around forever.
