FINALLY done with class work. I can't say I'm thrilled with my first intern assignment, but there will be a couple classmates there with me, so we'll make it work.

At this point, I'm not sure what my internship will have to do with occupational therapy, but I haven't had a chance to discuss it with the site or my instructor, who will be my onsite occupational therapist. By rule, an assistant has to work under a therapist. I found out yesterday that there will be others from my class with me. Should be interesting, to say the least. I get the feeling that the site, which is a community outreach non-profit, hasn't had students or OT on site before. We'll be trailblazing guinea pigs.
