Yes, you heard me right....3 Did I know? Nope,I came home fork work tonight and was greeted by Scout. The humane society had called him Faith, but we though he needed a more masculine name. I knew he had been found, but there was someone else who had signed up for him. I had told my husband that we needed to take our names off the list as Powder and Mac were doing so well. I guess the ten days were up and the other people were contacted, their answer was that they had thought he was theirs, but he wasn't. So guess where he found his forever home. Yup you got it. Joe told me that he and powder played at length and actually she is fast asleep. Mac basically said.....ok another one. Yawn. Mac has his checkup tomorrow so joe will be taking scout in for his first vet visit. We already clipped his toenails which were reallllÿ long. And he was a gem. He also stayed in my lap for over 30 minutes. He has already chowed down on the total Ferret. And he is wandering around the house now. Color? He looks like those military uniforms.....camiflodge or something only in gray and black colors. Pictures will follow , but not tonight

Congrats on the new(est) arrival! He looks a lot like my Diva. She started out really dark with the white head, and has really lightened up since she got her winter coat this year. She even has the raccoon striped tail.

Well Christmas is the time for giving and it looks like you are giving Scout a wonderful new home. Our number three, Dusty came to stay on Christmas Eve. Scout looks like he could use some love and care. Do you have any idea how old he may be? Congratulations Scout, you are about to find out what real loves feels like.

Scout had his first Vet appt the morning after he arrived. Check-up and rabies shot. The vet estimated fri==om his teeth and gums that he is only about a year old.
Scout has found his way into Mac's drawer and I found the two of them sleeping there a little while ago. I guess they are all playing musical ferrets now LOL

Well you would not believe it, but Scout doesn't even look like the same ferret anymore. In a week he has become solid. I think he is soon going to grow into those big paws. He does not have any tattoos so he isn't a marshalls, I know that Path Valley breeds BIG males and not tats so he may be one of theirs. But I think he is going to be a BIG boy.
Powder and Scout are really people ferrets. Both follow us around and love to be held. Of course we love to hold them also.
