Huronna she counted them just before she went to bed. She said it is 11.

Lori just checked them, did a head count and has gone off to bed, 7:14 pm (pacific time). She felt and counted 11, but she'll know more in the morning. I tuned in just a couple of minutes before she had her first baby and have been watching non-stop for 4 hours, yes I am a ferret nut. After she had baby #2 , I think, she stopped, looked for her Mom, and dragged her hand in the box, and tried to get the other hand too, but it wouldn't fit. When Lori took her hand out, Bella went outside the box, had a baby, I'm guessing on Lori lap, and then brought it back in. She wanted her Mom with her, and if her Mom couldn't come in, she went out to her. It's amazing how bonded Bella is to Lori.
Thank you Lori for letting us watch such an amazing thing.
And we think we have it bad when we have a baby. We have one baby and we're done. Bella had at least 11 babies, and cleaned up the after birth and cleaned up after each baby, 11 TIMES. I think we have it easier. Bella did so good. You could tell she was in pain, but she cleaned all the babies up, then TRIED to get some rest. Such an amazing experience.

Wow the pics are great. I was so thrilled to be able to see Bella's birthing from the first kit!! Too see how bonded Bella is to Heather is beautiful. Bella wanted her mom with her,greensky described it so well. The whole experience was amazing. Thanks so much for sharing the experience Heather!!!

Just went in to check on the babies and there are 12,,,6 boys and 6 girls.
Congratulations Bella and Heather.. The babies all sound strong and Healthy..
Thank you so much for putting the webcam up for us to watch it was fantastic..The most amazing thing to watch,,, and it was wonderful to discuss the whole thing with our new found ferret loving friends. I gave my girls extra hugs this morning now having more appreciation for our wonderful critters.. Ferrets are the bestest...lol
